Luxton Fall Fair
The midway rolls into Luxton Fairgrounds for three days at the start of October, with rides, games, and the usual midway food. Walking the grounds is free all weekend, wristbands cover the rides.
Three days on Marwood Avenue: Friday, October 2 from 3 to 11 p.m., Saturday, October 3 from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday, October 4 from noon to 6 p.m. West Coast Amusements brings the travelling midway, which means rides, games, and the sweet-tooth end of fair food.
Grounds admission is free all weekend, so you can walk it, eat, and watch without buying anything. Rides run on wristbands, $45 if you buy the day before, $55 at the fair, or individual credits at $1 each with most rides costing four to ten.
One thing to know before you drive out: the parking lot entrance has moved to Sooke Road, across from Ronald Road, rather than Marwood.
